Shipping Policy

All orders are processed within two to three business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Please note that we are based in Albany in regional Western Australia. This can affect the speed of shipping deliveries as we’re not in a metro area. It’s also important to remember that there can be delays beyond our control, such as postal service problems or if we receive a lot of orders at once.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Some of our items, like sculptures and firepits, are too large for Australia Post. In this case, we ask you to contact us at info@designerdirtwa.com.au to organise a quote with a carrier that will deliver to your area. We will always do our best to get a good freight quote for you. Luckily, we can often get a good backload rate with a local company if you able to collect from their yard in Perth, too.

Local delivery

Delivery within ten kilometres of Designer Dirt is available for $20. For deliveries beyond that area please contact us at info@designerdirtwa.com.au and we will arrange a quote for you. We can deliver landscape supplies and large sculptures throughout the Great Southern region and sometimes even further! Deliveries are made from 9am to 5pm during the week. We’ll be in touch with the delivery details, via the phone number you provided at checkout, on the day of our arrival.

In-store pickup

Free local pick up is available from our store, located in Ardess Estate at 2a/230 Chester Pass Road, Albany, WA, 6330. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within two to three business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.

Our in-store pickup hours are between 9am and 5pm on weekdays and 9am and 4pm on weekends. Please bring your order confirmation email with you when you come.

International Shipping

At this stage we are not set up for international shipping on our website, but you are welcome to contact us at info@designerdirtwa.com.au and we will do our utmost to organise it for you.

Please note, your international order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Designer Dirt is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within fourteen days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@designerdirtwa.com.au with your name and order number, and we will happily look into it for you.

REFUNDS, RETURNS + EXCHANGES

Full return policy

We accept returns up to thirty business days after delivery, providing the item is unused and in it’s original condition. We will refund the full order amount but return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

If your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@designerdirtwa.com.au with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these situations on a case-by-case basis but will always try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
