A decorative stone that is practically sized for paths and garden beds.
Cracked Pea Gravel (also known as Split Pea Gravel) is regularly used by landscapers and homeowners in garden beds, around homes and along fences as a decorative stone.
It is a good alternative to mulching as it does not degrade over time and allows great water flow while providing the soil profile with some protection from the sun. Weedmat can be placed underneath to stop the aggregate from mixing in with the existing sand and to help control weeds.
It can also be used for footpaths and driveways, but as it has few fines it will remain loose on the surface.
